Savings #1

To open a savings account at Wasatch Peaks Credit Union, you must be eligible for membership. A minimum of $25 is required to open and maintain a savings account.

Savings #2

You can divide your savings into two accounts with Savings #2, a sub-account that is separate from your regular savings, but earns the same interest rate.

 

Money Market

The Money Market savings account pays a high yield interest rate based on the amount you deposit.

 

Health Savings Account (HSA)

An HSA lets you set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for current or future medical expenses. The funds in your HSA can be used for qualified medical expenses, similar to flex spending accounts. These contributions into your account are tax deductible.

 

Christmas Club #3

This account is designed to help you save for the holiday season. Terms are the same as our 1-Year Certificate Account as of October 1st of each year; however the balance of this account will be transferred to your Savings Account on October 6 of each year. Make saving even easier by signing up for payroll deduction. This account allows for maximum deposit of $300 a month and computes daily and pays at maturity.

 

School Advantage #4

A savings account available only to Weber School District schools. The interest rate paid is the same as the 6-month CD rate. The account will cover checks drawn from the school's checking account when it is short funds. A minimum balance is not required. Learn more by clicking here.

 

Kids Club

A Kids Club savings account club for kids ages 0-12. Our tour guides, Tia and Max, travel the world, while teaching kids about money. When the account is opened, the member will receive a membership kit. Rewards are given as members reach certain checkpoints by making deposits.
